U.S. Embassy screened “Prince Among Slaves” to celebrate Martin Luther King’s Birthday

In celebration of Martin Luther King’s birthday, the Public Affairs section organized a three-day showing of the movie “Prince Among Slave”. It was presented at the U.S. Embassy, the English Department (CELA) and the Higher Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC). During those three days, the young audience was impressed by the scope of this film-documentary with historic commentary that provides a unique meaning to the fight for freedom. During the discussion following the film, the students discussed their rights and responsibilities in a democracy as well as the impact that Martin Luther King’s through his articulation of dreams and hopes shared by many still today.
