On June 16, the government of Guinea held a formal ceremony to mark the signing of a protocol agreement with the government of Mali regarding thetrafficking of children across its common border. With this signature, Guinea joined a host of other countries concerned about the trafficking of children in West Africa. Embassy Conakry was represented by DCM Frankie Reed, Economics Officer Kathleen Peoples, and Political Officer Peter Davis.
