Guinea Theater Group Fights Corruption

 Corruption play
 Troupe Baobab tackles corruption
at the local level
The Guinean theater Troupe Baobab performed a play entitled, "Laver-Cirer" to an audience of 100 at the American Cultural Center on January 26, 2005, as part of a joint effort with USAID to raise public awareness on corruption.  The play, translated into English as "Wash-Wax," was a comedy that appealed to audience members to confront the endemic nature of corruption.
