New Embassy Compound in Conakry

 
The Embassy of the United Stats of America in Conakry, Republic of Guinea.

The Embassy of the United Stats of America in Conakry, Republic of Guinea, formerly located in downtown Conakry, moved to its new Embassy Compound located in the administrative center of Koloma, Ratoma, on May 30, 2006. The New Embassy Compound was officially inaugurated on June 6, 2006 by Jackson McDonald, Ambassador of U.S. to the Republic of Guinea along with General Charles E. Williams, Director of the Bureau of Overseas Building, the Director for West African Affairs at the State Department, M. Phillip Carter, and the Representative of the Government of Guinea, M. Mamadi Condé, Minister of Foreign Affairs
