    Guinea’s AWEP Chapter Celebrates First Anniversary

    On March 28, the U.S. Embassy welcomed more than 100 business women, GOG officials, NGO representatives, graduate students and journalists, to celebrate the first anniversary of the African Women Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP) Guinea.

    U.S. Embassy screens “Mississippi Burning”

    As a part of its Black History Month events, the Public Affairs Office screened the film “Mississippi Burning” on March 1. The film is based on the FBI investigation into the real-life murders of three civil rights workers in the U.S. state of Mississippi in 1964.

    FPC Tour participant shares her U.S. experience

    Journalist Aissatou Diallo shared with over 50 civil society activists and university students her experience as a Foreign Press Center (FPC) Tour participant in the U.S. during the presidential election campaign.
