Embassy College Fair Provides Information on Studying in the United States
On May 16, the U.S. Embassy hosted a college fair at the University of Sonfonia, Center for English Language Studies, in collaboration with the Embassy’s Academic Advising Center. The fair was organized to provide interested Guinean students with information about colleges in the United States, as well as information about how to apply for admission and financial aid.
Guineans who attended American universities represented their schools, as did Americans from the U.S. Embassy. They provided students with brochures, as well as first hand information about college life in the United States. Over 200 Guinean students, teachers and parents attended the fair, which was the first of its kind hosted by the Embassy.
