Women’s History Month Outreach Builds a Network of Women Leaders in Guinea

 Honored guests of the Women's Symposium: Women of Action included Hadja Fatoumata TéTé Nabé Minister of Social Affairs; Mme Camara Aminatou Barry Former Minister of Posts and Telecommunications; Hadja Mariama Déo Baldé Former Minister of Commerce,  and Mme Sangare Maïmouna Bah Minister of Health. Dr. Hadja Mariama Djiélo Barry led the closing ceremony of the frist Women's Symposium
  
 One of the largest events to grace the new U.S. Mission multi purpose room, the closing ceremony welcomed over 100 people. The symposium lasted thre days and welcomed speakers such as Political Officer Jessica Davis Ba of the U.S. Embassy among many.
  
 Despite the heat, the "Women of Action" listened diligently. Participants of the Women’s Colloquium: Women of Action pose with DCM Julie Winn and APAO Kim Crawford Lueders at the close of conference ceremony.
